Railway tracks and ICE workshops

Interior of an ICE workshop with an ICE undergoing maintenance

The loads in accordance with steel and reinforced concrete standards and Deutsche Bahn AG guideline 804 – Railway bridges (and other engineering structures), were applied to two-dimensional frame systems representing the elevated track systems, and the structural responses for the load cases ultimate limit state, serviceability limit state, and fatigue were determined. All verifications for all components, fasteners, and bearing structures were carried out and documented in verifiable reports.

Project description

Stability analyses for elevated track systems in DB AG ICE workshops

Complete structural calculations, verifiable by DB AG, were prepared on behalf of the manufacturer of the elevated track systems for the construction and renovation of ICE workshops throughout Germany.
