Simulations of the structural dynamic behavior of the structure enabled the cyclic stresses resulting from the various operating conditions to be mapped and predicted. Based on the stress cycles obtained in this way, the fatigue strength verifications for the specified service life of the structure were successfully carried out.

Fatigue analysis for the dust extraction system of an electric steelworks
In a dust extraction system in the exhaust gas flow of an electric steelworks, fluctuating air currents and the resulting vibrations in the metal sheets and supports of the dust extraction system caused cyclic stresses, raising questions about the fatigue strength of the structure.
